Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a friendly, customer service focused SIA Licensed Receptionist.

You will undertake a crucial role for the business by ensuring consistent service delivery on site in a professional manner, handling incidents in a professional and organised manner whilst always adhering to escalation procedures. You need to take an active role in enhancing the delivery of security operations by ensuring all tasks are completed by all relevant departments but to also understand the culture fully at site.

You will be working an average of 42 hours per week covering Monday - Friday days. Shift times will be: Mon - Thurs 0730-1600, Fri 0730-1530.

What you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • A valid SIA Front Line License - essential 
  • A valid UK Driving License - essential 
  • Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure
  • Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards

What are you going to do:

  • To use the Lotus Notes Visitors Database to ensure that all visitors have been authorised to enter site
  • To utilise the Lotes Notes Database to capture the data for visitors sponsored by a resident contractor or tenant
  • To assist potential vistors who do not have the necessary authorisation to enter site by contacting their potential host to confirm authorisation
  • To manage the process for registation of vehicles entering site and the issuing of the appropriate vehicle pass 
  • When required assist the Induction Controller in managing and facilitating the induction process including deputising for the controller during sickness and holiday absences 
  • To contribute to the smooth operating of card replacements and change to data in the induction process by card printing and data input
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
