Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to be trained and required to work at several of our client’s premises to assist us with holiday and sickness cover, with a view to being allocated a fixed shift pattern, when the opportunities arise.

You will be working various hours per week covering days, nights and weekends.

What you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor License - essential
  • Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards

What are you going to do:

  • To deter, detect and eliminate crime and terrorism
  • To discourage unruly or antisocial behaviour
  • Control access to all tenants, visitors/guests and contractors who are seeking to access the building.
  • Provide First Aid support when required to do so
  • Ensure Fire Safety protocols are adhered to and enforced.
  • Facilitate vehicular deliveries to and from the loading dock service areas.
  • Report all radio faults immediately by following chain of command.
  • To partake and pass a mandatory annual physical assessment - details to be discussed during interview stage.
  • Liaise daily with staff & the client and operational management teams
  • Support the fulfilment of the contracted/business objectives, through the range of duty assignments which will involve security and support duties
  • Ensure safety of customers and all staff
  • Contribute as a team member to ensure a positive customer experience for all visitors/customers.
  • Manning the vehicle check points - Barriers
  • Regular patrols of Canary Wharf Estate
  • Responsible for the safety of customers and tenants 
  • Traffic Management
  • To ensure the Retail facility, its contents and employees, including visitors and contractors are within a safe environment and protected from all forms of loss, damage waste and compromise
